| Posted: | | | | ok I've been collecting DVDs for a few years now and until recenty only becasue I liked the movie now i'm collecting for the "whole" package so can someone explain what "The Criterion Collection" DVDs are and why everyone wants them - I Know im thick but i gotta ask sorry | | | regards rorschach999

| Posted: | | | | Criterion is an independent distributor who acquires right to important classic and contemporary movies and gives them the Special Collector's Edition treatments to make all other studios look like amateurs.
