Well, setting out on the deck in the morning fresh air, enjoying the sunrise in the Pacific Northwest, with a hot cup of coffee and a view Mt. Rainier to the northeast and Mt St. Helens in the east. |

| Posted: | | | | Having a good day so far, hanging out with my wife and two dogs, recieved some new movies (from my wife) and some plugs for my car (from my son) for fathers day. Friday was my birthday (44) recieved some movies (pays off to hand out copies of my wishlist sometimes), spent the day with my wife, my son, and my sister-in-law, went to House on the Rock in Wisconsin (got in free because it was my birthday). I don't get to hang out with my son alot (he's 23) between his long work hours and his friends ,i appreciate what time we get to do things together. Yeah life is good, thankfully most of the time. Did you get through the stack after the morning paper? Did you even read the paper? Coffee is always great - I make a pot (or 2!) every morning before turning on the computer to check out invelos! I'm ruined - I have forumitis - and there is no cure! As far as yesterday, my marathon was interupted - I had to watch the US Open. But never fear Caroline, the day is young and I am determined to finish the race today! Fiirefly and Wonderfalls (which I heard about from forum contributors, thank you) awaits! |

I will be watching the next disk/s of the last season of Hogan's Heroes tonight (after checking the forums) when I get home from work tonight. I also have season 2 of Mission Impossible, season 1 of Kyle XY and The State Within waiting for me, besides all the rest of the backlog. | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Caroline: Quote: ...Wonderfalls. What is that about? From Wikipedia: The show's premise is centered around Jaye Tyler (Caroline Dhavernas), a recent Brown University graduate with a philosophy degree, who holds a dead-end job as a sales clerk at a Niagara Falls gift shop. Jaye is the reluctant participant in conversations with a variety of animal figurines — a wax lion, brass monkey, stuffed bear, and mounted fish, among others, which direct her via oblique instructions to help people in need. From TV.com: Set against the backdrop of Niagara Falls, Wonderfalls is a quirky one-hour family dramedy about an underachieving twenty-something souvenir shop worker named Jaye Tyler. Her life is forever changed when inanimate figures – including toys, cartoons and anything in the form of an animal, begin to talk to her. In each episode, the creatures' cryptic messages set into motion a chain of unpredictable events that invariably lead Jaye into the lives of others in need. Throughout the series' bizarre situations and madcap adventures, Jaye seeks advice from her best buddy Mahandra and befriends Eric, a local bartender who tries to help answer her unrequited questions. Is the universe conspiring against her? Is this real or just her imagination? Should she struggle with fate or surrender to destiny? Whatever the outcome one thing is for certain - Jaye will discover that the world around her is a magical place and that the seemingly random events in her life are actually all part of something much greater. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
