| Posted: | | | | Could anyone recommend me some movies/series from said "theme". My definition of it is pretty loose, but some i've liked are (and to show what type i'm looking for):
Movies: 28 Days Later The Postman Water World Dawn of the Dead (1978 & 2004) Land of the dead The Day After Tomorrow Mad Max Deep Impact
Series: Battlestar Galactica Dark Angel Also their gonna start showing Jericho here soon, would it be worth getting on DVD? |

Little known 1996 film
Stars Elisabeth Shue, Kyle MacLachlan, and Dermot Mulroney
It's not exactly post apocalypse but it does involve a temporary loss of all electricity due to a magnetic pulse?
Fairly gripping and memorable -- shows the possible breakdown of society under such circumstances.
