| Posted: | | | | With Valentines Day less than a week away, I've been reading and hearing a lot of conflicting top ten romantic movie polls. One Poll I see has BraveHeart and Edward Scissorhands .. ? One other List has Casablanca as the number one romantic movie of all time.. For what? his final lines to Ilsa ?? another list has this great top 20 listWhat are your favourites?? | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | I'm not sure I can come up with a top ten, but I can't believe "Defending Your Life" hasn't been mentioned yet!
So, in no particular order, I would probably say
Defending Your Life Something's Gotta Give Two Weeks Notice In Her Shoes (I actually think this is Cameron Diaz' best role to date!) Bend it Like Beckham (While romantic, it's also fun - and I really love the way it deals with the cultural differences) Down to Earth (A comedy, I know - but still romantic) Dave Just Married Lost in Translation Pay it Forward | | | The future is here. It's just not widely distributed yet. (William Gibson) |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not that big of a "romantic movie" person per se, but of the one's I've actually seen and enjoyed (and can even think of!): Ever After Just Write Just One of the Guys My Chauffeur Nobody's Perfect Pretty in Pink Some Kind of Wonderful The Polar Bear King The Princess Bride Titanic I guess some of those are technically more just "comedy", but they have romantic elements to them. ...I'll leave out Nekromantik and Beyond the Darkness. j/k | | | Corey |
