| Posted: | | | | I was just entering data on Rubber Johnny and I noticed that I now have two entries for "Elvis" ( not Elvis Presley) in my database. Clearly they're played by different "actors" as this one is a Chihuahua, and the other (in Hot Fuzz) is played by a white swan (playing "Dog" and "The Swan" respectively). This makes for an odd cross-link, and one that I'm sure will require a solution other than birth-year (ok, so I'll probably ignore it altogether). What else have people encountered, either in cast/crew lists, or elsewhere in the end credits? I especially adore variations on the "No animals were harmed in the making of..." disclaimer. I also liked the MGM mascot/logo parody in the opening credits of Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space. Rubber Johnny - Elvis as Dog Hot Fuzz - Elvis as The Swan ...and for anyone interested, I've not entered a headshot for either. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | The most frustrating credits I ever encountered were those for "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". The animator for that one should be taken out and hung . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I'd have to say the v ery first set of credits that made me sit up and exclaim .. What dahell!!.. would have to be Ghostbusters II ..... The entire set of rolling screen credits was a way past 9 minutes in length !! .. which for 1989... was twice as long as normal.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. A special agreemement was made with the various unions and staff so that they could have this 'affectation' and aim to add to the 'secret/undercover' nature of the program's content... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Skip What a helpful, wonderful contribution to the conversation Do people want to actually put some information rather than just state which title has frustrating credits? Just listing a title is almost as frustrating as the credits themselves (thanks to Berak for giving an actual example). Voltaire53, that *would* be very frustrating. I'm going to go have a look at the profile for that. I suspect I'll see a number of uncredited entries (but I suppose because of the rules, there wouldn't be any crew, would there?) | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

For MI-5 Spooks(, I used there official web site and viewing the DVD. It's one of my favorite shows, If I'm watching some other series when I get a new MI-5, I stop and watch MI-5. Credits that are very small on a wide screen and/or script lettering with running scene back ground. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | I've just done the credits on a short film called The Kin (or Lordi's The Kin). Lordi is both the name of a band (won Eurovision last year) and also the (stage) name of the lead singer. Unfortunately when entering the crew, there was no way of distinguishing the two. For the cast, I entered him as "Mr. Lordi", a name he's using in press material promoting his new film, and then using the Credited As to list him as "Lordi". Hopefully this sets things in the database moving in the right direction for any future entries involving the band. For anyone interested, the new Lordi (in both uses of the name) film is Dark Floors. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

FWIW I raised a thread about it and it was (almost unanimously) agreed not to use 'uncredited' for every single entry and that the cast list provided separately in the extras (or online by the official site) was an appropriate 'first source' given the situation. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
