| Posted: | | | | Snow in Atlanta is pretty rare and we don't have any this year, thank you very much. Having grown up in New England, I've had all the snow I care to deal with! Merry Christmas! | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Washington has been nuts. The east side of the state got a record of like 2ft in one day. Yesterday was the first day I worked in about a week (and I live on the west side, south of Seattle). I work on an army base and they kept closing the post.
Though it looks like all that is changing since it is raining now.
EDIT: I take that back, it is raining and snowing at the same time. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. | | | Last edited: by schultzy |

| Posted: | | | | We've had tons of snow here in the Portland OR area (but not as much as Seattle I think). We even had work canceled Monday after getting so much snow. Everyone hates it, but I couldn't be happier. It reminds me of growing up in NE Ohio. Also I only live 2.5 miles from work and can take the train in if I have to. Saw a guy driving sensibly this morning on the way to work do a sudden 180° spin on the road. Good times! The only downside to this unusual weather is my new boss. His attitude is that if you don't have chains (for our annual 2 days of snow per year) or a 4-wheel drive or a baby sitter for your children since school is canceled or whatever, then those are the lifestyle choices you've made and it's no excuse to miss work. I work with a guy with a fancy sports car with rear-wheel drive that won't take chains. He wanted to leave 2 hours early one day so he wasn't on the roads with all the other idiots and my boss told him that's what insurance is for. Of course he left anyway. I don't blame him. He's a workaholic and typically puts in a minimum of 50 hours a week. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | Rain and snow mix here in Ontario... They're saying that for the first time since 1971 Canada could have an all white Christmas... (Yes, for those of you who think Canada has snow year round, a coast-to-coast white Christmas is actually a rarity... ) | | | Last edited: by stevegblair |
