| Posted: | | | | Months ago we discussed this when some idiot magazine came out with their definitive SciFi list. But I think we should go for it. Lets make a Top 25 List. We'll run from today until next Sunday. Each person will post their top 25 favorite films (they must be on DVD) in the the order of importance to them (#1 being their favorite). You may choose ANY films you wish from ANY genre, there is no reason to defend your choices in your original list post, but as always we can discuss them in the forum. Next Sunday 1/11/08 I will go through all of the submissions and post the top 25. If the majority wants that will be the definitive list, or if the majority agrees there will be a one week period to defend the list. If the majority agrees we will make a revision and that list posted on the 18th will be The Invelos Top 25 Films Of All Time. If you agree please post your top 25. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't imagine that I would be highly influenced by such a popularity contest (I tend to enjoy older films which seem out of fashion), but juggling 25 picks from each submitter seems cumbersome. Perhaps picking the top 100 DVDs from submissions of 5 to 10 might be more weildly for whomever is tabulating the list. Nonetheless, the DVD Profiler users' hot 100 might be a fun list to view.
Just a thought... | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I am seeing a theme here. So lets do this. we'll push everything out a week. Everyone's first submissions will be due by next Sunday 1/11/08. I also like the top 100 idea. Everyone should still submit only 25 films, but I'll tally them into a Top 100 list. Finally, a friendly reminder, there is to be no bashing anyone for their picks, EVERYONE has a right to their opinions for this post.
With that let the games or a um picks begin... |
