Wow. I'm in the middle of watching the "Danger Man" series now...really enjoy it. It's what a true "spy" series should be. What a shame. Rest in peace Patrick (John Drake) .

Has anyone else noticed that the very first episode of the half-hour version of Secret Agent, called Danger Man in the U.S., featured the location of The Prisoner?

Memorable also as Disney's version of Dr. Christopher Syn, pirate, vicar and smuggler boss. Not to mention The Phantom père.

After reading this, I picked the 1998 Columbo episode 'Ashes to Ashes' to watch this evening. That turmed out to be a rather appropriate choice: the very last words of the episode are from Columbo, actually saying to Patrick McGoohan's character: "It's your funeral."...

Mr. McGoohan was one of those rare actors I've never ever seen giving a less-than-stellar performance in anything. This'll probably also trigger yet another re-watching of 'The Prisoner' one of these days, although I find myself re-watching that series quite regularly anyway.

Just got done watching him in the Dr. Syn treasure.  Might be some of the edgiest stuff Disney ever produced.

It's official, now I'm really depressed. Winter and the cold really starting to set in around here and the bad news comes. Just finished up Dr. Syn as well a week or two ago. Farewell thee well sir.

Perhaps a pilgrimage to Hotel Portmeirion in Penrhyndeudraeth, North Wales is in order...?

He always gave a wink as a reply in interviews as to what the answer Number 2 gave to Number 6's question "Who is Number 1?"...

Was the answer "You are Number 6" or was it "You are, Number 6."... ?
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
