| | Posted: | | | | Some of you may have known this, but I had no idea until just recently so I'm posting here, but Big Lots has some great deals on DVDs. Some are used, but the majority are new and priced between 2-3 bucks. Not always great titles, but a fair amount are. Today, for $6 each, I picked up Animanics V1, Night Court S1, Two Towers LE and The Best of the New Scooby Doo Movies.
They also had Pinky and the Brain V1 (S1?) and Sex in the City season 6 V1. I've heard that they also can carry ER seasons. Different dvds at different stores, but worth the stop by! | | | | Lori |

| | Posted: | | | | I also heard that they have Smallville Season 6 and one of the Nip/Tuck seasons on Blu-ray for $6. Of course, mine did not, just the Scooby-Doo movie set (which I already own) and Two Towers (which I also already own). |

| | Posted: | | | | My local BL has a few TV sets (Knots Landing season 1, Nip/Tuck 4, O.C. 2, Dukes of Hazard 6, West Wing 2 or 3), but none of the ones I need.  Didn't see any blu-ray though. If anyone sees 'Blade the series' or 'Nightmares and Dreamscapes' (someone on horrordvds reported finding that also) could you please grab them for me. I'll cover all costs plus a couple bucks for your trouble. See ebay feedback for "deadlybuddhistpalm" or "bigdaddyhorse" on horrordvds good-trader list if you have any doubts about me. Thanks in advance for any potential help.  Edit: Broke down and bought Nightmares and Dreamscapes off ebay since it was cheaper than I could get it from anyone else except myself finding one, and then only a buck more including shipping ($7.78 total!). Word on other sites is ebay vultures are tearing through Big Lots, snatching up dozens of boxsets and ebaying them for pennies. From what I saw on Nightmares, it's for real.  One person said a guy kept coming back in and cutting in front of the rack's he was looking at, snatching more and more Scooby Doo boxes. I'd love to see someone try that on me.
