My blu rays and HD DVD's are all region A.  Don't include anything that is region zero or coded for multiple regions, or region free asian DVD's.  I have six dvds that I ordered from New Zealand which is region four.  I have a whole bunch of region 2 stuff, some were around fifteen or so (well I guess that is not a lot).  I don't have anything from region 3, 4 or 6.  Are there any good excusvies in those regions

The majority of my collection is Region 2/B UK but I also have -

1/A - US
1 - Canada
2 - France
2 - Germany
2 - Sweden
2 - Denmark
2 - Italy
2 - Spain
2 - The Netherlands

I think that's the majority of them but it's possible I missed some.

I have a few Canadian imports, though that isn't another region. Good Will Hunting (U.S> version is non-anamorphic) and Brotherhood of the Wolf (much better SE).

I also have Twin Peaks pilot imported from Hong Kong from when you couldn't get it in R1.

Mainly my DVD/BD's are all region 2 or B. I also buy region 1/4 and A (on blu-ray) I have only one region 3 dvd, which is Das Boot, wich I bought because of the original German soundtrack in DTS
Both my dvd and blu-ray player are multiregion, so I just buy from the region that has the optimal release. For now, I don't have any region C coded BD's, since I usually buy them in Europe, or USA/Canada

Not region free on Blu yet, but have dvds from almost every region and country possible. Most imports are UK or French, but a few Asain, Japan, Austraila. The bulk of my collection is local, which is R1 USA for me, but when a favorite has a better version somewhere else that is in print or possible to find, I hunt it down. Still can't find that Japan Scream Dircetor's Cut for a reasonable price though. I'm hoping it comes out on blu soon when they make part 4 now and have ceased looking for it and stuck with the non-anamorphic Scandinavian dvd, which is still better than the laserdisc!

Now that I think harder, I don't have any region 3, 5, or 6. Thought my Japan Boondock Saints was R3, but it's R2 NTSC.

I'm completely region free with both DVDs and Blu-rays.  I have about equal number of US R1 DVDs, HK/Chinese R0 or R3 DVDs, and Korean R3 or R0 DVDs (~300 each now).  I have ~100 Japanese R2 DVDs.  I have ~1400 Region A or Region Free Blu-rays and HD DVDs and ~200 Region B Blu-rays (mostly French, German, and UK).

I don't think I have any DVDs that are hard coded for Region 6 (China).  All my DVDs from China are Region 0.

Almost completely United States locality, so virtually all R1 or R0.

I have a couple Hong Kong locality DVDs, but they're all Region 0.

I also have one R2 disc from Japan listed in my collection, but I have a sneaking feeling that the actual disc is an R0 bootleg.  It plays in my player, so it can't be R2, and it was added by title when I first bought the program.  We'll find out if it's a bootleg when I get to auditing that part of my collection.  Whatever it is, it's not an R1 release, since to my knowledge Robot Carnival has never been released on DVD in R1.

Basic California Region 1 guy here.

But.... I really wanted a DVD of Pandora's Box (long before Criterion announced that they were releasing it) and found a Region 2 DVD of it. I hesitated on getting it until my son-in-law got me a region-free PAL & NTSC DVD player for Fathers Day a few years ago. Since then, if I cannot find a DVD of something I want in a Region 1 DVD, I do not hesitate to get another region's DVD. It Happened in Sun Valley has yet to be released in the US, but is available in Australia and New Zealand. The non-dubbed (but subtitled) Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is available in a region 2 & 3 DVD. I have a number of Japanese & Korean horror films on their respective regional DVDs. Again, I'm in California. Locally, Oto's market has a DVD rental department for their Japanese (and other Asian) customers, and like Blockbuster & others, they sell rental returns and new DVDs. Also, there's a Korean DVD rental shop next door to my favorite local restaurant (Kamon... hi, Koichi!). I have family living near Japantown in the City, and my daughter attends UCLA, and we visit her and LA's Japantown often. And Amazon.uk is very helpful as well.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
