| Posted: | | | | Hi, has anybody experience with the mentioned application for iPhone/iPod Touch? It is supposed to work with the DVD Profiler database, so in theory you would be able so store your DVD Collection on the iPhone/iPod Touch. I downloaded it, but it did not work so far. I try to figure out how to solve the problem.
So, is anyone using thos application or a different application to store and view your movie collection on those devices? |

| Posted: | | | | I'd be wary of an application that says it links with the DVD Profiler database. As Ken is working on an official iPhone version I'd be a bit surprised if he'd given permission for a 3rd party to use it.
Edit: To add that if it's using just a user's collection it might be OK. | | | Last edited: by Ardos |

| Posted: | | | | ok, maybe my fault - it is supposed to mirror the users DVD Profiler collection - so not using the database itself... |

| Posted: | | | | Hi, Maybe I can reply. I made iMovies Collection. At first, I made it for my personnal use. I use DVDProfiler since a long time, I think it's a great tools. But I have also an IPhone and I would like to read my collection on it. So I made an iPhone application for that. As you say, it's not a full integrate application with DVDProfiler. It's just to get your public collection on iPhone. So if your public collection is on : http://invelos.com/DVDCollection.aspx/toto Put "toto" as your identifier and retrieve all your movies on your iPhone. You can only read your collection (not add/remove a movie) This week I will put a new version with filters. And I just submit to Apple an free "lite" version. It's not perfect. Do not hesitate to send me a message if you find a bug. Like "Erazer", after your email I corrected a bug, it's the reason why it's work with your collection now Even with this application, I'm waiting the official application to completely manage my collection. | Posted: | | | | It actually looks like a nice interim app that would allow me to take my collection with me. Yes, iProfiler will be a better option but, for $2, this doesn't look bad at all. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
