The editors there were coropte and treated people poorly.  Not all of them.  I would try and contibute something that would take a long time than they would reject it with out giving me a chance to correct my mistake.  I would have start at suare one.  There was a certain clique there that would get everything approved immediatly.  Often they would screw on title counts on TV sets, even if it was more than one season.  It got a lot worse in the end.  Me and my friend were just discussin what a bad exsperiance we had with the editore s there.  This place is so much better in every way.

Maybe they just had a hard time understanding what you were writing.

I never had anything but very pleasurable experiences with the editors.

They were always very nice and quick to answer any questions I had. On the occasion I had a bad submission, they would PM me pointing out my mistakes, or questions they had regarding the submission, and we'd work together to figure out any mistakes or confusion.

Great team over there that I never had any problems with.

I thought you were one of the editors there, and a very good one if I remember right.  I know you used to be active on the boards.  It was one of the those things, if you were not part of the in crowd, you were treated differantly.

Apart from the very funny time they decided my Blu-ray covers where wrong (500 or so i contributed). The key is to use the notes section and provide links for your material.

My submissions were almost always handled well with good communication when necessary.  My early efforts were frustrating, as I worked through a learning curve, but it was usually my misunderstanding causing it.  I got the hang of it before too long.

I always did,  It was not everyone, there were some excellent editors, but a few of them were totlal a-holes and would just find a reason to reject things and not explain things.

I heard he was the reason that the site was sold to CNET in the first place.

I heard that too. IIRC, he was the one that brokered the deal.

Most definitely. We complained about fnordboy to the owner often (sometimes daily) because of the sheer number of complaints we were getting. All to no avail, sadly. I think he was the owner's brother or something.

So even the editors were trying to correct the problem.  I guess I had a misconception of the situation.
