Due to the fact that none of the DVD releases have been anamorphic, I haven't been able to watch this since I purchased my widescreen TV. Needless to say, I will be watching this on Tuesday night. As an added bonus, for me at least, you get $10 off, at Best Buy at least, if you buy it with Tombstone...also making it's Blu-ray debut. As to your question, I was probably older than you are now when I first saw it, so there is nothing to out grow. | | Posted: | | | | I have the Armageddon Blu-ray arriving on Tuesday from Amazon. I'll keep the old Criterion DVD for the extras.
The film is about as unscientific (borders on the ridiculous) and unrealistic as you can go with a killer asteroid movie, but somehow it's still likeable.
You certainly won't miss much at all between the Armageddon Theatrical and Director's cuts... | | | | Corey |
