| Posted: | | | | I got this email sent to me today .... I thought Firefox was one of the better browsers?? -------------------------------- : Hi you all, if you're browsig with Firefox and try to access www.dvdcollectorsonline.com you will currently get a malware warning. I'm already investigating the reason for this. I'm using a shared hosting service which means that several websites works with the same IP address and I'm certain that my site is not the one that has caused this. You won't get this error message if you use another browser and I hope this blows over soon. Best regards, Karsten "DJ Doena" | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | Yes I did. I sent it to all members of DVDC that have allowed e-Mails by the site admin (me ). I'm already in contact with Google to figure out why they think I'd host malware. My website provider already scanned my account and gave it a clean bill. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | (To save myself some typing...) on the warning page is a button "Why was this site blocked?" which reports what Google found after crawling the site several times. Both FF and GC access this feature from Google (while I believe that IE does not, and I am uncertain about Opera and others).
DJ Doena has taken the next step. All that can be done by the rest of us (in terms of the message itself) is sit back and wait. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | Is it possible that they are reacting to a direct link to an executable that is lurking inside one of the posts? I'm not sure what criteria they use for "suspicious." Just a wild guess ... | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |
