| Posted: | | | | Pretty much the same here. The only MP3 player I ever owned was about 1.5 by 1.5 inches in size, had a screen and four buttons. The screen showed a number: which ever "track" was playing at the time, skip left, skip right, stop and play buttons. It worked just fine with headphones.
The only other thing that I own is a Kindle eBook reader.
No iDevices at all, smart phones, DVRs, or GPS, tablets, Bluetooth devices (not even my phone), and the last gaming system I owned was a Super Nintendo. I'm really low tech for someone who techs on and repairs computers. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | An iPhone is a smartphone. An iPad is a tablet computer. An iPod is an mp3 player (although later models are more like multimedia players). Bluetooth is a standard for short range wireless communication, not really a "gadget". (Unless you also count Wi-Fi as a gadget.)
Of the ones you mention (disregarding the Apple branding), I've never owned a tablet computer. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Nexus the Sixth |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have any of those devices, except the Nook, but then it doesn't wake me up after a night of watching DVDs. I hate telephones of any kind. It is the rudest invention ever. The priority people place on the ringing of a phone is unreal. The phone rings and they bust their ass to answer the !@#$% thing. And then they wonder why it is dangerous to operate one of these device while driving. Everywhere you look today somebody has one of those thing stuck to their ear. Just what the hell do all those people have to jabber about I don't know.
With the economy and elections it seems there isn't an hour goes that some ass isn't asking for a donation, for a vote or has a poll to take.

| Posted: | | | | I've never owned a video game player. I once had a cheap version of a Pong like game, but I gave it away shortly after I got it. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Never had, and have no intention of getting, a: Nintendo Xbox tablet computer (so no ipad either) MP3 player (so no ipod as well) iphone (but I do have a smartphone, not to be confused with a smart phone ) digital audio cassette player (forgot how the format was called) Laser disk player Betamax/UMax/Philips G2000 (I kept myself to VHS at the time) digital book reader (kindle etc) digital play devices (Tamogotchi etc) personal espresso machine (and similar deluxe coffee makers) blue light tanning device (wasn't that Final Destination 1 ) leaf blower (or: how to blast your autumn tree dirt onto your neighbours green ) I do have a PS3 but use it only as a BluRay player So where do we draw the fine line between a dinosaur and OTOH a mindless follower of the useless products industry? | | | Eric

| Posted: | | | | I have an aversion to smartphones. To me there nothing more than superfluous pieces of minimal convince for a premium price. I have a bit more understanding if someone has one for a work need, but if you really need to check your facebook every 5 mins. Then you have problems. When i heard of the IPad i thought it was some kind of futuristic electronic tampon lol. However i love having a gaming rig (gaming pc). Skyrim on PC=Heaven |

| Posted: | | | | The only cell phone I have is a Tracfone, and that's mainly for emergencies or business.
For video games, I currently own a PS2 and it's good enough for me.
Oh, and I don't own a digital camcorder yet.Still own a huge VHS camcorder, which is in storage. |
