| Posted: | | | | I do, but I hardly an expert as I've only had it for about a month. I have noticed many of us are running Windows 8 and most are having no problems with it and the DVD Profiler.
I bought the pre-release Windows 8 for my old PC. Since, it takes me about a week to get everything transferred over, the old PC died before I got around to putting it out.
When I bought a new computer, it came with it. I have had no trouble running the DVD Profiler with it. But It came with allot of apps and many of them are just spam when you check them out. After installing most of my programs and updating and checking for them for updates has consumed most of my time. It now has over 200 apps. I did get my so-called smart TV and Oppo DVD player hooked up. The printer/scanner is next. Trying to get rid of all the physical wires into this computer. I haven't decided on a mail program to use. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | I haven't seen System_Service_Exception???? but A scan Bing with it seems tens of thousands have, most of the strings seem to result wanting you to buy some software to fix it. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. | Posted: | | | | Can't say how DVDP runs on Win8 as I've never used it on it yet, not likely to on the one Win8 box I have.
But I can say that the first thing I did with Windows 8 was to make it looks like Windows 7. |

| Posted: | | | | I've been running Win 8 on my desktop since the official release, only error I've had so far is if I don't exit winamp before shutting down. Then windows just tells me it caused an exception and asks if I wan't to shut it down before continuing to shut the computer down. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | A few month ago I performed an upgrade from Vista to Win8 Pro on my desktop-pc. I don't really love Win8 but it's running more stable than my previous Vista installation. My favourite OS is still Win7, what is running on my Laptop, and my work-pc (as well as XP for my netbook)! | | | Thorsten |

It might take some getting used to, but Win 8 is far superior than Vista. I've been running it for over a year on a 7 year old laptop with no crashes and no issues. Yeah, it took a bit to get used to and some finessing to my liking, but it's leagues superior than Vista. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

The start key on my new PC, (definitely made for running 8) the start key symbol and some other symbols have been replaced with the Windows symbols. I'm getting used to Windows 8, but I just got to watch where I put my fat fingers. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it.
