| Posted: | | | | Hello everyone, It's been a while for this update on my medical condition to be posted because I've been waiting (not so patiently) for it myself, but I finally have a date for the brain surgery to remove my benign tumour... whoa, Monday 4th... 2 days time, that's a bit soon! At least I won't have much time to work up into a panic In to hospital Monday morning about 7:30, operation during the day, 30 minute obs (ie they check I can remember the day etc every 30 minutes day and night to make sure there is no bleed post op... I'm going to be knackered but I guess I'd prefer it to the alternative!) then probably sending me home the following day! I have full confidence in the medical team; they are apparently one of, if not THE best in the UK (conveniently located just 30-45 minutes from where I live) so despite the fact of course it's scary I know I'm in good hands. Hopefully will be able to let everyone know it all went OK (or at least OKish) by midweek... not watching Frankenstein or the Man With Two Brains yet though! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
