| Posted: | | | | cvermeylen, How often should we submit updates to your addendums? I've got about 120 or so headshots of actors who didn't previously have one... but I'm not sure if that's really enough to bother submitting them to you yet. Do you have a preference?

KM Hello Astrakan, I currently have 251 cast members and 53 crew members to release in the september update. Your 120 headshots are very welcome. Just make sure your backup contains only the 120 new ones. If you can get them to me by this week, I'll include them. I plan to release an update next week. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Help?
KM Add a manual profile to your database Add by title - deselect "Download profile from Invelos". Call the profile Headshots Add the cast and crew members with an updated headshot to the Headshots profile (for crew, just use director for every member, don't loose your time by selecting the correct role). When you are done. Make a full backup of your database. Create a new database, called HMDB. Open de new database, and perform a restore with the folowing options: Select "Restore Specific Profiles" and select only the Headshots profile. Deselect "Restore cover scans" Deselect "Replace Full User Database" Perform a database repair with the following options: Select "Custom" Deselect "Preserve cast/crew with images" This will remove all castmembers except those attached to the Headshots profile. Now perform a full database backup. This way I get the profile containing all actors names as well, which saves me some time. If you require more assistance, just let me know. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Add the cast and crew members with an updated headshot to the Headshots profile... Sweet, thanks for the detailed instructions. KM | | | Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS! One way of doing so would be when you find a Headshot for your local, add the same actor to a dummy profile (held say in your Wishing List) "New Headshots" that way all you have to do is export 1 profile, once exported and accepted into the Master, empty your local to start again. I do something similar with all my headshots that I wish to keep, (maybe because the actor is not so well known so pictures are hard too come by), I also keep a dummy profile of all the accepted BY'd actors, so if I download an eronous one its easy to eradicate. Are you talking about surfeur51's upload? That's indeed in 3.5 format. cvermeylen's September update is coming next week he says. Not sure if it'll be in 3.1 or 3.5 format though... So now for me it is not possible to come back to 3.1. It would be interesting to find a way to share custom headshots. But the way they are saved (by UPC) doesn't help. I'm sorry for those who are still with 3.1 | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | The September update is ready. It contains 396 actors and 55 crewmembers. A third of the images was provided by Astrakan, for which many thanks I added a great deal of the cast and crew of the Heroes Television series.
