Tron Legacy

DON'T SEE THIS IN 3D. Even at the start it claims that a lot of the film is in 2D and what is in 3D sucks. Im not going to see another film in 3D again it just sucks, and is not very good cinematic experience.

A couple of examples of why it's not worth it

1.Cause your wearing bulky glasses the nose piece obscures your vision
2.Unless something is flying out the screen in your face it just looks odd

The film it self while i was heavily distracted by the stupid 3D glasses i found to be rather rushed and lacking.

I need to watch this film in good old fashion 2D till i can fully comment on it.

But right now 3.5/5

Hi,

I just watched "The Hunted" and "Inception".  I couldn't decide if "The Hunted" was more of a rip-off of "First Blood" or "The Fugitive".  I decided it was a tie.
When I watch a movie like "Inception" I tend to focus on logical inconsistencies but really couldn't put my finger on any here.  I may just have to watch it again.

Inception on Blu for the first time since seeing it in a theater.  It feels a little slow watching it a second time, but the payoff makes it worth every minute.  4.5/5

Les Misérables (1952) A strong cast: Michael Rennie; Debra Paget; Robert Newton; Edmund Gwenn; Elsa Lanchester; James Robertson Justice.  Overacting indulgences are few.  Some nice surreal touches add interest in this version, but overall good, not great.  3.5/5

Solomon Kane

2.8/5 (weak story line about not so Good vs. Devil in the 16th Century, Mr. Kane is a mixture of Hugh Jackman and Aragorn II in this not unambitious yet shoplifted production, best Balrog since LotR:FotR if you know what I mean)

The Book Of Eli

Ahh you really got to love your stereotypical post apocalyptic films. There's psychopaths dressed in some elaborate clothing, and there's always one fat guy with a stupid mask who despite the fact that food is very scarce is obese.

Then there's your protagonist who surprise surprise is emotionally disconnected and short on words yet is near invincible in a fight.

The main villain is intellectual and cultural yet 100% evil. So what makes Book of Eli different? Well apparently all the Christian bibles where burnt because it was believed they started the 3rd world war. And Eli has the last one and now is taking the book somewhere west across America as guide to rebuild humanity

I don't know what they where trying to get at other than that the word of god has the power to destroy and create. Ether way it totally failed, but if you want to take the film at it's most basic level as an action sci-fi film and ignore it's stereotypes and failed meaning/message.

Then it's enough to entertain and keep your attention.

3.5/5

Inception

4.8/5 (Have you ever had a dream that you were so sure it was real? What if you were unable to awake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world, and the real world? Is all that we see or seem but a dream within a dream? Do androids dream of electric sheep? I don't know.)
