This is a more recent picture.  Noah Smith The existing picture is correct. The new picture is Noah Smith (1985).The BY is not in the database yet, but I've contributed it in the birthyear thread. Sarah WrightThe new picture is Sarah Wright (1983). Unfortunately I don't have a picture for the puppeteer without a BY. cvermeylen's UpdatePatrick Johnson Allready noticed for the last update, but the existing picture is correct. The new picture is Patrick Johnson (1993). |

Well wait, found a 5 year old picture. Assuming it's the same guy and no other composer goes by the same name. Here is what appears to be a more recent photo when he became a new member of the ASCAP. 4TH FROM LEFT. |

| | Posted: | | | | Now I can form the question, I was confronted with, correctly: Are the IMDB pictures listed with the composer really from the composer (even for me with my awfull recognition abilities - more disabilities  - they look like the actor)? Which led me to the question: Does the composer exist at all? - Or is this one of the IMDB fakes? But with the provided answers I see, there is a composer which is way elder than the actor. Looking at the dates and/or places, when/where the pictures were taken, I believe, I can definitly say, that all portrait photos listed with Jay Ferguson, the composer born 1947, show Jay R. In this case they are using the actors photo for the composer too.
Why IMDB does this is well strange. Could it just be an honest mistake? Or done on purpose. |
