| Posted: | | | | Darklynoon - That screams that you are not actually making the connection to the DB, try to ping from the phone to your PC using the suggested port, I would be willing to bet that its getting blocked.
3 Different setups and I have had to open the ports in firewalls and on software based firewalls as well.
You can't trust the test connection.

Obviously it's not the second best since it doesn't run Profiler. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Great job Ken, Now DVD Profiler is complete, this is far out the best program ever made to keep up dvd collections. I'm using it on my Galaxy S3 and it works just fine.
Best regards, Daniel |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, I've been hoping something would be available like this. Like others who don't check in often I didn't even know this app was thought of much less available at the G-Store. I just happened to find a strange subscription notice (dated 9/29/13) referring to a post from 2007 in my junk mail box and came to the forum to see what the comment was they were replying to. Anyway, saw someone mention an Android app and found it in the store. My newsletters from Invelos must go into the email black hole as I never get one.
Downloading to my old but still usable Acer A500 tablet from the online DVD database (http://www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/jerryel) at the moment which is taking a long time so I hope it works okay.
Hope there is a version for the Windows Phone and/or the Windows Surface tablet in the works for the future 'cause the future is all MS Windows 8+, not the Robotsy or Fruitsy named toys. | | | -Jerry in NW Florida |
