A while back I found this data in a contribution which justified why Mel Berns (1897) was placed in the DB a long time ago

Now I just did some analysis on the CLT data and it shows that the BY is actually invalid.

Mel Berns (xxxx) (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0076949/) is Mel Berns (1897)' son born in 1940.  And I did a count based on the CLT titles based on the filmography of his son and the common name for his son is Mel Berns, Jr.  So the BY for Mel Berns (1897) is not needed

Common Name (Make-up)  / "Mel Berns" (2 Title(s)) / "Mel Burns Jr./Mel Burns, Jr." (2 Title(s))/ To "Mel Berns, Jr." (9 Title(s)) Based On The CLT Note: I counted CLT titles and profiles manually based on this persons filmography since there are several Mel Berns' (namely his father born in 1897)
