| Posted: | | | | Ah, come on: the question was: anybody interested in a book profiler? He got four direct answers, and several others that can be interpreted as being interested.... It's not that bad (this time...) | | | Lutz |

| Posted: | | | | as someone mentioned moderators... i wonder if they would really stop these posts... i mean... its all in good fun right?
on the serious side... i'd really like ken to chime in on why exactly... he can't make "x" profiler... it could theoretically generate more income for invelos... and would use almost the exact same system for contributions, etc...
in addition... book profiler i suspect will be dreadfully simple with very little to argue over... much the same with cd profiler and video game profiler... they do not require the same scrutiny that film does... books and music are written by... maybe 4 people max... games... really all u need is platform, title, release date and cover scans... the program would be dreadfully simple to create...
just my opinion... i | | | -JoN | | | Last edited: by ruineddaydreams |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not shure why evryone seems to think its such a bad idea. Personaly I would love a book profiler, as I have a small library with over a hundred books (that will grow now that I own a house) and at least a thousand magazines.
I dont see how it wold be too hard for them to do, and as someone else said it would be another source of income for invelos.
DVD and Book profiler could be linked too. For peeps who own both, you could created links between books and the movies based on them for example. I could think of a dozen cool things that could be done with both. | | | Last edited: by Morika Web |

I would actually want to know too. I would pay for a CD profiler, eventhough iTunes does a pretty good job on it. Games have a huge set of crew working on it. And id guess anyone wanting a game profiler would like to know who they are. Plus e.g. the last game i bought was C&C3, it has a bonus DVD with making of's and all. The game videos on it are like movie scenes. | | | Last edited: by whispering |

| Posted: | | | | whispering - i would dissagree with that... i suspect people just want the basic info on games... title, cover art, platform, release date, overview, SRP, and genre... just to keep a running list. | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | Don't worry, Krikarian, I was expecting the thread to get derailed anyway. I've been in enough forums to realize what my question would've done. I actually surprise at how civil it all is, lol.
Edit: oh, and thanks for Library Thing JonM, it's pretty cool. | | | "Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives, but I'd rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey, reminds us to cherish every moment...'cause they'll never come again.
