Presently running at about 10-15 per month, maybe a bit lower since that includes some gifts for my wife's birthday (she knows I always get her some DVDs,... it satisfies my craving   ) and gifts received by me, though it was a lot higher when I was building the collection (and I had more money)

Thanks DJ Doena for sharing the tool. Wouldn't have bothered to do it myself but nice to have it.
Also for me the buying rate is quite fluctuating:

The average is 2.78.

I concur: I never seem to get through the unwatched and that list just seems to get longer

16-17 per month, on average, since November 1999. One month was more than 85 DVDs...
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Finally managed find the time to get my graph working right (the joys of being an Excel newbie regarding charts and graphs!).

For me it varies a lot, usually between 1 and 10 though. Most I've ever bought in one month is probably around 20-25

On average I buy 10-15 DVD's a month, but I've had some spikes going up to 45.

I've toned down the volume of my purchases and I'm a lot more careful on what I buy. I used to buy more than 10 DVD's per month, but right now it's usually less than 5 DVD's per month. Either I find a really great deal on a good movie/series or something that I really, really want (and most likely have decided to buy a long time ago).

I'm trying to watch the DVD's I have now, a lot of TV-series I haven't watched yet.. so it will take some time.

about the same for me... since i began i'm averaging about 12-13 / month... however there are periods of time in the start and recently that are lower... right now im very careful due to space constraint, wallet constraint, and impending format switch... i just purchased a nice chunk of discs due to the DD 20% off sale and other factors - but like cvermeylen said... when i spike... I SPIKE.

The amount of dvd's I buy changes from month to month, at the moment I have no money so I havnt been buying very many. Hopefully this will change when I start to get more money.

I'm careful that she thinks the former whichever is the real case

Don't you have a very similar graph to that in the statistics page of your phpDVDProfiler site? Breaks it down by years for ease of viewing, too ...
