I have watched everything except the last 4 episodes of SG1 season 10. I managed to get hold of dowloaded episodes for season 10 of SG1 and season 3 of Atlantis and am looking forward to what comes next. I love the series (both SG1 and Atlantis) and am extremely disappointed to be losing SG1 as a regular item, but admittedly 10 seasons is a good long run!

SG-1 is amazing, definitely go for it.  Once you get to seasons 9 and 10 don't forget to buy "Ark of Truth" (It's out March 11th) because it serves as a conclusion for the storyline that goes on in those seasons.

I'm very disappointed that this is not being released in high def!

I first got hooked through the Film (Movie) which was fantastic - then moved over the the TV Series which in some ways are far better.

SG1 kind of tailed off at the end of Season 8, Season 9 & 10 + Ark of Truth are OK but not quite up to the originals. SG Atlantis is a very good spin off, luckily I've been able to see all 4 seasons and it's well worth it.

I am biased though as I like most things Sci-Fi and Fantasy which SG1 and SGA are......

Would a limited budget have anything to do with no HD release of Ark?

I thought it was a great movie for its effort to tie up old story lines. But I really think SG: Continuum (due in June) will be the better of the two...more like a stand-alone episode...which lends itself better to  even more SG movie releases.
