| Posted: | | | | Escape From New York is a must. There's also 2019: After the Fall of New York, which is a low-budget rip-off of Escape but worth a watch. I'd say go buy the 2 disc Escape and rent 2019.
The Resident Evil series sounds like it would fit your tastes. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks to all for the recommendations From the suggestions the ones i have seen and liked: Armageddon, Independence Day, Resident Evil's, Trilogy of the Dead (though only really liked Dawn of The Dead from the older ones), Planet of the Apes (But never really liked the older ones), Appleseed, The Postman, Water World, Children of Men (bought it yesterday and it was really good). From the suggestions the ones i have seen and didnt really like: Terminators, Matrix trilogy Also own 12 monkeys, but havent watched it yet. Not that big fan of older (<-90's) movies, dont really know why. Probably cause i started watching movies in 1990. But there are some movies i come a cross every now and then that are old but still really good in my opinion. Some like the mother, i like the daughter Anyway need to continue browsing thorough the other recommendations... Edit: Also, about 15 years ago i watched this movie called "Lötköjen yö", which according to IMDB is called "Night of the Creeps", does anyone know if its worth watching again? I dont remember much of it, and back then i thought Commando was awesome | | | Last edited: by whispering |

But Battlefield Earth? I've seen some review on it and, it aint flattering. Also it has that whole scientology thing that i wouldnt want to touch There is no Scientology in that movie. That's a load of BS put out by L. Ron Hubbard's enemies. It's a tongue-in-cheek John Travolta piece that actually has a rather clever plot. It ain't Gone With the Wind, but it isn't Plan 9 From Outer Space either. Just good, entertaining, escapist sci-fi fun. | | | John
