| Posted: | | | | Unlike the Yardbirds, Tenacious D has had a steady lineup of members. Using the band name makes good sense. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | Same question, different example: On Kill Bill 2 the credits show that the character "The Bride" was originally created by Q&U. Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman in this case. I would opt to include both full names under "Original Characters By" and use "Q&U" in the "Credited As" field. |

| Posted: | | | | Toughie! I would go with listing individual names unless "Q&U" is a known group of some sort. |

| Posted: | | | | same answer. one credit. you can't take one credit and split it into two simply because you know who was involved in the group. At least not for the master database. |

Thgat is YOUR preference and NOT what the Rules tell you to do, personal preference ALWAYS is an issue for your local and NOT for the Online. Same answer for you, Doc. Though Italo's answer would be an option, that falls within the Rules, but remember DOCUMENTATION...ALWAYS!!! Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

At least not for the master database. you've got to be kidding me. ken has given us this fantastic credtied as feature and you don't think we should use it bevause there's a "&" in between the alias names. what if the credit was "Quentin Tarantino & Uma Thurman" I bet you would separate them then. what's the difference. | | | Stuart |

what's the difference. Not kidding, just giving my opinion. Not saying that I'm right or wrong. The difference (as I see it anyway) is it is not "Quentin Tarantino & Uma Thurman". It is one entity, Q&U so one credit. How I would do it if it were something else doesn't matter, since it is not something else (Now I'm sounding like Unicus ) For what it's worth the poll seems to agree with me (at least for Tenacious D). Not a unanimous decision but right now running close to 3-1 in favor of what I've said. |

Skip I see two in Q&U. But we just had a margarita lunch here at work, so that could be it. | | | ...James

Quentin Tarantino credited as "Q", Uma Thurman credited as "U". I would never have considered putting it as one credit. |

| Posted: | | | | "&" is a substitute for "and". Therefore "Q&U" is equivelant to "Q and U" which is 2 credits. Simple.
Or now do we combine 2 names into 1 when "&" or "and" appear between them. | | | Stuart | | | Last edited: by Gadgeteer |
