Frankly, you're both hijacking my thread.

Personally I rip to my hard drive and use Musicmatch, but as I have not yet ripped all my collection (around 700 disks, I imagine) I do tend to lose track of what I have. I have duplicated and have also mislaid some disks over the years. I would love something that listed the title, artist and tracks for easier use over PDA's etc.

Mine go into iTunes and my iPod. Although iTunes isn't the greatest when it comes to cataloging music.

We used to call our old house Toulouse.....but then we moved, and got an en-suite as well.

I'm using Collectorz' CD Collector as well. Works pretty well, although entering them is not quite as easy as with DVD Profiler.

(And I agree that Skip's post was just totally pointless).

I love the name!
My parents named the first house they owned "Thistledo" and the next one was "Thistledo-Too". Now we all live in complexes so we cannot name our houses. They always wanted Penmicco for another. I have yet to think of a good name

I'm about as fanatic for my Music CDs as I am for my DVDs.
Tried several and ended up with OrangeCD (www.firetongue.com).
It reminds me a lot of DVDPro:
- Easy to use, complete, you can add the cd's by title, by Amazon search, by UPC or by putting it into the drive (the most reliable one in terms of getting results)
- One main programmer (one man show) that takes part in the software forums
- Several updates/year based on people's requests
- Makes an online list of your collection (you can either put it online on their site, just 1 template, or use several available templates -or make your own- and put it online on your own webspace)

But do take a look for yourself to several softwares as my tastes might differ from yours. Check Mole's list.

Cheers,
