So, currently approx. 90% of people who responded to the poll consider that there is some form of problem with interactions in the forum.

This is very worrying, particularly when you consider that there are a group of people that have gone already and will not be represented in this count.

I voted for "I don't post as much as I might because of a small number of users (three or four)",
even if it is not exactly what I think.

I think I'll post now only very exceptionnally on Invelos forums, as everytime I post I am attacked by the same two persons. It began since my first post, because I made comments about rules. I asked the most aggressive to ignore me, but he refused, then, I must admit that sometimes I reacted against them more then I should have done in other places. I apologize for that to the other users.

It is useless anyway to try to have a normal discussion with people who treat you of nazi, and confirm that it was what they meant.

There is a place which is quiet in Invelos forum, it is the translation forum, where normal people work together to improve the program and let thousands users use it with their own language. There is quite no hostile word used there. Guess why ???

Very sorry to see you go, surfeur. Especially if the reason is that some people who clearly don't have a clue what they're talking about are associating you with the worst regime this planet has ever witnessed. That has to be the single most offensive comparison ever on these forums (and there have been quite a few).
Take care and hopefully at some point you will feel comfortable enough to join these forums again.

Have you blocked them? Not saying it will stop them attacking you constantly - I know from experience - but you won't have to see it and will not be tempted to get sucked in.

You won't miss anything of interest as they contribute nothing useful that is not already been said by someone else. As as added benefit  they will just look even more foolish that they are attacking someone who they know can't read it for it to have any effect.

Yep, blocking helps a lot I can tell you from experience. And if you ever feel the need to check what the blocked user needed to ventilate you just have to "Sign Out" and read the forums anonymously.

I voted for:

"My posting (or lack of) is largely unaffected by the attitudes of others, but I recognise a problem (with specific users)"

Fortunately, there is the blocking feature.  I have only used it once, and it was on the HD DVD and Blu-ray thread.  No need to say who it was.  Everyone that posts there or browses that thread knows.

8ballMax's comments were the best part of that thread...
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
