| Posted: | | | | When I was in the military I was sent to southern California for a couple months. I ate a dozen Krispy Kremes a morning. These days I still can't figure out how I managed that. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

I think all of these cities each enjoy a singular attitude to what makes a city great. No one mistakes Paris for Tokyo for San Francisco for New Orleans for Boston. Add London, Vienna, Barcelona, Rio, and a few others to join these cities in being uniquely their own, with nothing else to match their personalities. There are other fine cities, but each of these have a special impact on what everyone on Earth believes a great city can be. | Posted: | | | | Was it a Dunkin Donut that used to be Q-shaped? I vaguely remember seeing an ad for donuts shaped like that as a kid in the 50s. I thought it might have been Dunkin because the purpose of the Q shape was you could hold onto the tail of the Q while dunking the body of the donut in coffee (though at the time MY drink of choice was cocoa or Ovaltine. So I walked into Dunkin Donuts (I miss them!) and slowly perused the selection, looking quite indecisive. After he asked me for the 2nd time if I had made my selection, I replied "Yes. I'll have two of ... um ... everything."
Guy's jaw hit the floor. Really!
Walked out of there with six huge bags full of donut boxes. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

| Posted: | | | | First time to the Northeast, Long Island, record blizzard, got snowed in the motel, my Avanti was buried in the snow, they ran out of food, beer and Scotch. Also, Boston, every time I was there, there was a blizzard.
The second time I was there I think I overdosed on seafood. I has been down at NASA, Merritt Island for two days standby for an Apollo launch. filled up on lobster tails stuffed with crab meat and lunched on raw oysters and beer. Then I got called to MIT on a problem. I had to have some clam chowder. I was glad get back to Phoenix and good hot Mexican food to clean me out.
First to the bay area, Parks AFB, Oakland, Ca.basic training, first pay day $31.00, marched you down to the PX and spent it all on things so you could pass inspection. The las time in te by area was better, I worked in Sunnyvale, Ca. for awhile, great food and of course wine. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.
