That's very much like my own resolution. I have to enjoy the games and movies I've already bought, instead of buying new ones all the time. |

So, what exactly does it mean? No smoking in public places? ( was always surprised to see that Germany was the last place I knew where the smoking areas in airports were open and not separated little rooms... ) Hi, some more informations HEREHere in Hamburg, it's forbidden in e.g. restaurants and pubs, but the administration does not have the human resources to control this. So AFAIK they are depending on a kind of denunciation from other people. Look HERE as well! But if you stop smoking now(!), you're on the safe side. If i had'n t stop smoking (I quitted smoking from one day to another, no reducing or something like this - just stopped immediately), my dvd collection would be much smaller yet. | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |

This depends somewhat in which state you are in. In Bavaria for example, where I live, this new ban has one of the strictest enforcements. Here no exceptions to this ban are allowed. Regarding airports: I am a little surprise, looking at the table at Wikipedia, that not all states prohibit smoking at the airport. | | |

In Italy we have a smoking ban in restaurants and pubs since January 2005 (apart from special rooms for smokers only). The amazing fact is that the ban is actually enforced, as opposite to most laws in my country ;DDD | | | -- Enry |

| Posted: | | | | I remember that Salt Lake City had a smoking section at the far end of one of their terminals and I occupied it when flying before I quit smoking.
Washington has a smoking ban in that you can't smoke in any place of business and you can't smoke within 25 feet of any door or window. |
