Very sad, and for whatever reason I just watched Brokeback Mountain and The Brothers Grimm a few days ago.

Looks like The Dark Knight will be his last film as I'm hearing he'd only shot 50% of his scenes in the next Terry Gilliam film...

Are they finished with postproduction on Dark Knight?

Wow, the curse of Terry Gilliam movies strikes again.  Ugly news.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

according to reports, his post on Dark Knight was done before all the other parts so as to not interfere with filming on the Terry Gilliam project... The Dark Knight will be his final role, and it will be complete, no voice overs or stand ins...

Yes, it is a cruel world if you think your remark was clever or funny.

I've also found that a Baptist Church hate group is planning to protest at the memorial service.

F**kin religious groups need to be wipd from the planet. So he played a gay character, it's called acting and was his f**king job you morons! Hypocrates, the whole lot of them. What ever happened to "thou shall not judge"? It's got so twisted. The man had a wife and child!
In a related story, I acted gay at the bar a few times just for laughs. Guess I'm gonna burn in hell for that too.

Not really.
"I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question:
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose…
Rapture."

Maybe oversimplified, but far from naive I think. Just look at history or every war/mass slaughter. If race isn't behind it, religion is (and many times it's both). I'll bet religion is the #1 killer of all time if you factor in the "why" of history's attrocites.

I've never had a high opinion of Best Buy with their high prices and shady business practices, but they sunk to an all new low with this one.

Far more accurately, megalomania shrouded in the cloak of religion is the primary cause of most wars and atrocities.

To condemn religion because it has been perverted by a few to satisfy their own need for power, is precisely why I said your view is naive.
