Edit: Ctrl-F Jubbyuk I am just wondering how you know that is him. Did I miss something? Was his name mentioned somewhere? EDIT: Guess I should learn to read further BEFORE asking questions. Just saw this from that blog you posted: Another new Quidco member support staff starts October 16th, 2007 A quick note to say welcome to Richard who has been training with us and working part-time in the last few weeks and is now working full-time with Quidco as of yesterday. Richard will be working on our member support, starting with processing member enquiries and then moving up to tickets. This latest addition brings our Quidco member support team to six members of staff! Welcome here Richard jubbyuk says: October 17th, 2007 at 4:50 pm Hello everyoneThank you for the warm welcomes - It makes me very happy.I look forward to helping all of you via the proper channels.RichardLike I said in my earlier post ... there is a thin line between spam and information ... guess this actually crossed that line. Thanks for investigation. I think now we have a decision guidance how to answer a possible rules violation... We have moderators? I would think that to be a Ken or Gerri decision. I think it's nuts to attempt to guess Jubbyuk's motives. Jubbyuk is the only one that knows. It's up to Ken or Gerri to decide what they will tolerate and what they won't. To jump to conclusions, make accusations, and investigate(for no reason other than to assume) constitutes a red arrow way more than jubbyuk's original post. IMO. Sorry Opus IMO, if you work for the company and send info regarding ways to make the company money (eg earn money why you buy) it IS spam. The spammer waited as long as he did only because he wasn't working for the company yet. |

The spammer waited as long as he did only because he wasn't working for the company yet. Then we'll have to agree to disagree. I feel it's Ken and Gerri's decision. Being that the topic is still up I get a feeling it's not that big of a deal. Also, the original poster doesn't make a dime, i.e. no way to track where a customer may come from, AND no one has a gun to their head to purchase anything. If you think it's a good deal, great. If not, you don't join. | | | Attracted to "svelte buoyant waterfowl". |

However, if you work for a company (receive compensation) and you tell a group of strangers about your company in order to get them to try it out, your company, which can only stay in business by having customers (ie keep you compensated) it is spam... |
