Sheesh!!  We don't even have the CDProfiler beta yet and you're adding other formats.  NO cassettes, NO 8-tracks.

It's CD Profiler NOT Music Profiler!

I'm all for a CD Profiler, but what of us who do not have our money in CD's but Bonds, and Money Market funds?

Oh I just realized after last week I have nothing left in my Money Market Fund!

Apparently we have established that the circumstances and problems are sufficiently alike that we would not encounter big surprises.

One thing though, is anyone still buying CD's nowadays? Otherwise no new profiles...

I was never much into the music market, most of my (about 50) CDs are soundtracks.

But I also know people who have more than 300 CDs. I never undertsood them. What does one with that much music? You'll hardly be able to listen to them all.

I have over 500 i think When i was at school i used to listen ~8-10 hours a day, nowadays only listen for few hours per day. And theres only so many times you can listen a CD through.

        to all of the above!

Although, I could do with a CD profiler too! I have around 600 of them and have most of them loaded to my PC and from there to my iPod. I listen to music at the office, so I can honestly say I have lsitened to all my CD music (but not neccessarily all the CDs themselves!)

A feature I would want is a track list to tie into my PC music player!
