| | Posted: | | | | I use something extremely basic to track my watched TV (on DVD)... a page per show, with checkboxes, and when I watch something I tick it off with a pen. It means when I sit down to watch something I can just look at the list of what is on offer and pick an episode (usually unwatched) to view. For something like the old Flash Gordon serials, it means I'm not trying to remember which episode I was up to, and for something like Danger Mouse I can decide which boxset to pick up if I'm after a particular episode. | | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

At about 1300 I started with DVD Profiler, and I kept dual track in the two programs. | | Posted: | | | | I export my DVDprofiler, and import it in MovieCollector by collectorz. Moviecollector has a very nice export to website feature. One of their users created a very nice template including a search feature where you can search on title, genre, cast or crew member and so on. The only sad thing is, the import only imports the first 10 cast members. Had to buy a license for that (of course), but when I wanted to do some exporting to websites, I had to get another version, which costed more. | | Posted: | | | | i used DVDP exclusivly when I was running windows but since switching to a mac it doesn't run for obvious reasons. i tried DVD Pedia for the mac and it worked okay but I missed all the cool features that make up DVDP. I finally purchased VMFusion and load XP in a virtual machine and run DVDP that way from my mac and it works great. |

| | Posted: | | | | I use my CCViewer, of course. I use DVD Profiler mainly for contributing and profile updates. As I am a big TV series on DVD collector, I find DVD Profiler lacking in this regard. I want to be able to track watch dates, reviews, credits, airdates and such on an episode level.
Also there are some other features I wouldn't want to live without anymore. Like doing custom SQL queries, tracking additional information, having other tabs beside "Owned", "Wishlist" and "Ordered". And tracking my manga collection, displaying and editing awards, easier credits editing,... | | |
