| Posted: | | | | Quoting Mixmaster_Mal: Quote: I saw a used copy of the "unrated" (but released labeled as "PG" then later recalled) version of "Swamp Thing" at FYE this week. But I didn't think a few seconds of Adrianne Barbeau's boobs was worth $26 (at that price, FYE obviously knows it's a collector's item). I hate that about FYE. I saw something there a few months ago which I can't recall for the life of me what it was, but it was a known OOP disc that usually got around $20-25 on ebay and I had slight interest in. The sticker price? $29.99. I remember thinking to myself I would've done $10, but no way was $30 an opition. Then I see things that a couple weeks old, and the used discs cost only 1-2 bucks less than a new one (one would've been cheaper to buy the new since it had a mail-in rebate). FYE is just wack in my experience and opinion. |

| Posted: | | | | My OOP find for the day is the limited edition Supergirl too. My number's nowhere near as low as chefagk1's (36973/50,000), but all it cost me was going into work an hour early this morning. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | Found the uncut R2 NL release of Death Wish 2 on ebay for 11€ I also found the Australian Anamorphic widescreen release of Star 80 for 12€ through an Amazon UK trader. It's a reprint since it's not a snapper. Not sure if it's out of print, but it is now listed as unavailable on Amazon UK. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I found a copy of Pumping Iron II at a pawn ship for $1. (I will buy ANY non-mainstream movie for $1).
Sat on it for around 3-4 months. Surprised to find it's worth over $100. Sold mine on eBay for $125.
Definately my best find profit wise. |

| Posted: | | | | My finds while my computer was on get-the-virus-off hiatus were these two, for the trade of 4 Mario Game Boy Advance games: Billy Jack: 35th Anniversary Collection Region 1 Released: 6/28/2005 Anamorphic The Adventures of Spin & Marty: The Mickey Mouse Club: Walt Disney Treasures Region 1 Released: 12/6/2005 Full Frame 1.33:1 I'm particularly pleased with the Billy Jack set, as the lowest I found that online for direct sale is $60 (there's a couple on ebay for auction for less right now, but I'm certain they'll go up). The Spin & Marty tin seems to range around $40. All-in-all a good trade in my opinion. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |
