| Posted: | | | | Since all my friends have said something to the effect of 'you need an intervention' with regards to my DVD collection, I think I'll be the only one ...
I'd love to be able to use it at work for the store's inventory, but that's just not possible. Aside from not being licensed for retail work, it also can't handle multiple copies. Plus it'd take so long to input everything ... out store has somewhere around 20,000 - 21,000 on the shelf, add to that the 10,000 or so in storage in the back ... gah! ... we'll just have to stick to looking on the shelf to see if we have it. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

Maybe you can talk with Ken about making a retail version possible that can handle those things. As for getting someone to buy it, I think I may have convinced one person, who works for one of my family's businesses. I was showing him my new netbook that I received for Christmas and he noticed the icon for DVD Profiler and asked about it, so I demonstrated what it is and how it works. He seemed impressed enough to write down the Invelos website. He ended up buying a netbook for himself that night, so he may have bought the program as well. |

| Posted: | | | | I convinced Holloway001 to utilize DVDProfiler when his original website he was using closed. If it hadn't closed he would have continued using the other website happily. He still misses it.
I know very few people who have a collection worthy of cataloguing. | | | Graham |

I would totally buy a retail version for our store if Ken made one. I might have to save up for it, as it would likely be more expensive than our beloved personal profiler, but I would completely buy one. Hands down. *salivates over the idea of being able to tag things as being in the back room, in storage box X* | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |
