Born in Texas, but a Navy brat, so raised all over. I guess the all over rubbed off on me. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. Where I grew up and still reside (SE Michigan), we call them water-bugs which wasn't even an answer. I went with potato as it's the other term I've heard. I ended up "40% (Yankee). A definitive Yankee" even though I use a lot of southern slang (ya'll, coke, etc.), mostly from my girl being from Atlanta and rubbing off on me. |
