Sure we get some steel books from Best Buy or some little swag like a cd or something from Target or just different artwork on the slip cover from Best Buy or Walmart. But where are these really cool and unique packaging now?
I have some real cool ideas for cool packaging that they could have done for some movies/tv series. Perhaps we should start a thread about that. |

Most of these unique limited editions and various other DvDs in unique packing where released at that the height of the formats life cycle. Back then the economy was good as well which was a bonus. |

Quote: But where are these really cool and unique packaging now? In the trash. My... you sure sound chipper today I love the look of specialized packaging and the toys that come with some of them. I'm just not one who displays a lot of non-functional things otherwise I would likely seek them despite being "cheep plastic" instead of being made out of cast iron and covered in gold foil. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | If anyone doesn't have Dark Knight on blu yet, I have 2 Target stores in my area, both still have 3 copies each of this (but the BD version): They've been there forever, one has damaged packaging but the rest are fine. Normal price, $13, this week on sale for $10. I'd jump on one, but I already have this version: | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |
