| Posted: | | | | Just got my copy of "Joe Schmo 2: The Complete Second Season" And it has the exact same packaging UGH. Fortunately it only has 2 discs not 4 or 5, but still PAPER SLEEVES? Double UGH. Why so different from Season one? Season one had 6 discs (2 or 3 episodes per disc) in 3 slimcases, 1 disc per side of slimcase, like most multi disc box sets. | | | CaptKiirk42 DVD Collection/ Also Klandersen at DVDAF DVDCrate Collection My Blog |

- Like the setup? - It is ridiculous? - Something else? Option 2... Bleah! Tho about 1/8 step better over a StackPak, IMO. (only shown at the moment on the Nexpak home page) Similar idea, but naked discs on a spindle - a cake box in a keepcase. Some studios are using these too as an economy case. Also becoming more common is this Scanavo case I've seen being referred to as LiteBox. Slightly inconvenient, but at least the discs aren't grinding eachother in transit like the other. (In the past I'd seen these occasionally for CDROM sets.) |

| Posted: | | | | I've also seen these for cheap sets. Another thing I've seen recently that's similar are cases that have a central 'hole' for the discs but instead of paper sleeves you get paperboard envelopes. The Good Times complete series set has this set-up.

| Posted: | | | | Thanks to a generous person here on the site I have now replaced this case with a 4 disc Keep Case. A kind soul sent me a couple of the cases so I even have an extra just in case I need one again. So let me say... Thank You my friend! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I also got this with Joe Schmo 2. It's a very cheaply produced set, The disc seemed to have problems working in certain players, there are no real chapter breaks and unliek the first season, no special features. Still, it was a great show. I wonder if Ingrid is still single. |

| Posted: | | | | I just got one of these with Wiseguy from Mill Creek, not terribly fond of it, BUT the transfers are pretty good and the First Season lists at $14.99, in large part no doubt because of this new case design. So I won't argue with it....yet.
