Yes, iProfiler will be a better option but, for $2, this doesn't look bad at all. Agreed. I just tried to buy it, but it's currently being modified. Perhaps because the price seems to now be $.99? I've seen that before. Hope it works well. I've tried keep a spreadsheet in my inbox on my phone, but that is way too slow to be useful. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Application need a network connection to get your collection but after it can run offline. It's work with iPod Touch. For Mark Harrison : yes Apple platform have some trouble to day... I hope that Apple validate the lite version soon. |

Oh, great, in that case I don'z have to wait for the Lite version Is the €1.59 the new final price or will it go back to what I saw yesterday? (Although, I guess after the buzz created in this thread and TheMadMartian's comment, who can blame you for raising the price ) | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. | Posted: | | | | It is true that at the start, I set the application to $ 0.99 to get first returns. It was not necessarily a good idea because I left a bug and got two bad reviews I decided to move the price to 1.99 after adding the Lite version (even if validation Apple a little slow at the moment) I think it is a reasonable price and it will never be more expensive. The goal is more to repay the cost (Apple taxe and web hosting) much than winning a lot of money And to night I submit the 1.1.0 version with filter ! |

As such, I'll check out the free version when it becomes available and provide any suggestions I see for improvement. Though with the competition that Invelo's app will provide, your main selling point may be providing support for many different DVD cataloging applications, more than just the two that I saw listed when I last visited your website. |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, have downloaded this app and have the following comments.
1. Could do with a little more summary information about the number of profiles it holds. (eg. at least the number downloaded).
2. It does have a tendency to crash for no apparent reason
3. Really like the movie summary
4. Needs to suppress (for sorting) things like A, The , etc.
But for £1.19 in the UK good price.

| Posted: | | | | I've bought this too until the official one comes along, it's much more convenient than viewing my collection on this site when I'm standing in Tesco looking through the rack of £3 dvds |

| Posted: | | | | My first ever post, yay me.
I second all the recommendations for this app. Yes there are bugs and it's not perfect, but it's cheap and if you're looking for an easy way to check if you already have a movie it's great. Sure beats having to wait ages for the online profile to load because the 3G reception in the underground JB Hi-Fi is almost non-existent.
This is an perfect stop gap measure until the official version comes out (soon I hope). |

| Posted: | | | | Installing this made me aware of the "adult" movies issue - i.e. things in my local collection not appearing in my online collection, and therefore not syncing over to this app. By adult I mean Miami Vice, Lethal Weapon etc lol. If you have the same problem , see my other thread here with fix: And no, I don't know why the link above doesn't work | | | Last edited: by xocbc |

And no, I don't know why the link above doesn't work because there was no text to display which represented the link You need to put at least one letter or number between the "middle" brackets: ][ | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | Thank for your feedback Good news ! Lite version is publish It's a good thing, with this version you can try if your collection work with the application. Since one week I find some specify error, like character I did not support... The last : an user with a space in his name... I corrected in 2 hours. Do not hesitate to send me a message if you have a trouble. Quoting ritchf: Quote: 1. Could do with a little more summary information about the number of profiles it holds. It is difficult thing to find a compromise Quote: 2. It does have a tendency to crash for no apparent reason It is fortunately rare, but I'm working on it. Quote: 3. Really like the movie summary Thanks DVDProfiter for good summary Quote: 4. Needs to suppress (for sorting) things like A, The , etc. You are the second person that ask this feature... I will try in next version (not 1.1.0, but maybe 1.2.0) About "adult" movies. I think the problem is solved But it's simple, iMovies Collection just show the same movies you can saw in your public collection. |

| Posted: | | | | The first-time setup message is in poor English with an spelling error: This is a first collection, use your identifier in confugration tab. Maybe this instead? "This is your first time running the application and is configured with a sample database. Please use the Configuration tab to enter your collection information." Configuration Tab: I would suggest changing the label "Set identifier" to "Save". After saving your configuration and getting the "Well done" message, automatically switch to the "My movies" tab. If the user is from DVD Profiler, display the owned/order/wishlist tabs. (if IMDB doesn't have wishlists) So far, it's not a bad app. I'd love the wishlist feature. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

| Posted: | | | | I got around the space-in-the-name bug by temporarily removing the space in my handle - ie: I turned "Dr. Killpatient" into "Dr.Killpatient". The iMovies app loaded my collection with the alteration. After it was loaded, I switched my handle back. |

| Posted: | | | | You're right Dr. Killpatient.. message is in poor English I copy past your suggest message Now I support space in identifier, juste use %20 like : "Dr.%20Killpatient" wishlists is typicly a difficult feature to do with a multi-base application.. I will think about it. |
