You'd better watch the stuff from the '60s. Anyone who can recall anything from the '60s wasn't really there.

I just last week recalled where I'd first seen "No Left Turn Unstoned" -- and it proves my point.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

IIRC, you're a fan of horror, so I chose the 70s though if you can, I recommend picking up some of MGM's Soul Cinema releases, especially my personal fave Black Mama White Mama. Now that is pure 70s trash (though granted they prob aren't suitable for a young lass).

And they all star Sid Haig!

I second this, but one frustrating thing about the Soul Cinema releases is some are pan and scan and you have to watch for that.

My vote is for the '70s.

Only problem with doing the '70s... Brittany will make me watch Josie and the Pussycats!

I don't know "Josie and the Pussycats", but this sounds as it could get real hard not to poke.

I don't know Chinatown... like I said earlier in this thread... I am still new to pretty much anything pre-1980.

Had to go with the 70's.  There are great films in each list, but the 70's has it hands-down.
