Does amzon Germany ship to the US |

All the amazon sites automatically remove VAT if your billing and shipping address is in the US. UK, DE and FR have always removed the VAT for me. I never had to do anything. You can also set them to have your credit card charged in $US now. It only works for in stock items but for me it's good because my CC charges me an foreign currency exchange fee otherwise. |

While that's true for me too, I still choose to pay in the foreign currency because my bank gives me a better exchange rate than Amazon - despite the 1% foreign currency charge. My wife looked at my last 2 orders and it was cheaper to let amazon do the currency exchange. I have to check but I think we pay more than 1%. |
