| Posted: | | | | I live in Romeoville, IL. A rather boring and dull suburb of Chicago. Basically composed of things you would find in any suburb. Homes, strip malls, schools and other things. No major tourist places in town itself. Maps. The community that I live in. Right next to an industrial park. The old "downtown" section. Plans for the old "downtown" section The Citgo oil refinery about 2 miles south of me. The train tracks that run near the Citgo refinery. The few interesting places in town. The I&M Ship Canal Lewis University and it's airport White Fence Farm that's on Historic Route 66. |

By 2008 the last of the four palm trees forming the "Big W" had disappeared. Rancho Palo Verdes is about seven hours south-southeast of my place. It it 40 miles due south of the dormitory where my youngest lives at UCLA. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I live in Shepherdsville, KY - the county seat of Bullitt County, a typical small town on the interstate. Here is a view from I-65 (at night) And here is a view down Hwy 61 through the center of town Which is about 20 miles south of Louisville, KY Of course, it's Festival Time right now! Leading up to the first Saturday in May! My favorite place nearby is Bernheim Arboretum & Forest. My mom and I try to get out for a hike every day, weather permitting. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | I live in Stockholm, Sweden: or rather in a suburb (not quite so picturesque): within a short distance from one of our more prominent landmarks, the Globe Arena: and not very far from one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world (which unfortunately cannot be captured in a single photo, but this may give you an idea): There are some 10.000 islands in the archipelago, some small like this, some larger. It's something you have to experience in order to understand... | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
