Oh yeah, Deep Impact is easily more accurately based on scientific fact and plausability. It has some inaccuracies of course, but for the most part it's believable. Armageddon? Come on...an asteroid the size of Texas getting near the Earth? I have news for you Michael Bay... there's only one of those known in the entire solar system that big, and the chances of it getting anywhere near Earth any time soon is virtually nil. | | | Corey |

As an added bonus, for me at least, you get $10 off, at Best Buy at least, if you buy it with Tombstone...also making it's Blu-ray debut. "I'm your huckleberry" Wasn't aware it was out this week. Thanks!!!!!! |

| Posted: | | | | I hate when BD is wasted, and compared to the existing dvds, these border on waste IMO. I'll put em on the library list but stick with my DC and feature-filled dvds until Disney gives them a proper rerelease, esp. after seeing Gangs of New York get another BD to fix the messed up first one, I know there's hope! Not saying I like non-anamorphic stuff on my HD set, but Zoom 1 doesn't look so bad at all if you can ignore a little fuzz! Not to mention the gag reel on the Criterion disc is among the funniest things I've ever seen in my life! Second funniest? The commentary with Affleck! | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

Don't worry, the DVDs outside of RC1-land were anamorphic, but the difference in picture quality was minor: http://www.caps-a-holic.com/vergleich.php?vergleichID=136 |

"I'm your huckleberry" I've always wanted both films and never got around to picking up either. Might just have to remedy that this week! Thanks for the heads up. After thinking on it some more, I believe I'll pass. They're $23 each. So that's $46 total. $36 after the $10 off making each $18. I'm thinking in 6 months these ought to be available for far less than $18. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |
