The Day After Tomorrow

2.9/5 (the weakest of Emmerich's disastrous movies, slow, frittered, Quaid listless, phoney human touch, mediocre water/snow/ice/wolf effects)

Quaid seems to think he is on to something with the whole shout your way through a film performance. Got to watch DOA to really see the full range of his listlessness

A Serbian Film

I'm going to give it 4/5 even though I wish my memory had an erase option - very hard going!

Deep Blue Sea

3.8/5 (if you're in to shark-attack-action-shockers, you should give it a try, the cgi is outdated, but there's also a lot of real water and great animatronics, nicely shot, and this movie means business; additionally I think the B-rD transfer looked really good).

Beneath Hill 60

This is the best Australian war film I've seen since Gallipoli.
Great characters, strong performances and very well shot. And it looks beautiful on Blu-ray.

4/5

My wife likes the movie very much, so I think I have to think about an upgrade to blue.

I just realized, we both watched a movie with Jacqueline McKenzie in it.

On DVD/Blu nothing right now. I'm packing to move (again)

On T.V. I think it was Iron Man, and only part of it, as I was still doing things. Would give it a 2/5 for the effort. Story was really not worth watching.
Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer.

Love this flick, as it feels like a big budget B-movie to me. Some of the BD looked incredible, but some was a bit soft I thought. I can't recall if it was that soft in the theater, then my GF got jealous that I did see it in the theater. Should've met me a couple years earier and you would've too! Effects do date fast these days, let's get George Lucas loose on this one.

First thing he'd do would be to remove the birdie kill.

Then he would remove the kill of the pregnant woman. Then he would remove the kill of......

It Happened to Jane

2.5/5... Cute but the humanity is missing in this Capraesque little person vs. the evil empire comedy.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Se7en - Still as great as the last time I saw it a few years ago. I love how Fincher, rather taking the easy route, doesn't actually show any of the murders and instead allows the mind to do that by showing us the gruesome aftermath. The final scene is certainly one of the most gut-wrenching yet still brilliant endings ever and I always have that same feeling every time I watch this movie.

***** / *****, (A+, 10/10, 4/4)

She's only pregers in the deleted scenes, so we can probably let the kill slide.
The bird will live, and sound like Jar-Jar though.

Honestly, if i was making a Horse cut, I'd probably try and remove the bird almost completely. Definitly remove it's death, as it is a dumb scene I can admit after dozens of views.

4/5 Nice no-brainer action movie. Best watched with some friends, beer and popcorn (or whatever you prefer).

Harry Brown 3/5

Nice story and cinematography, a little disjointed and not very smooth flowing

Marmaduke  3/5

A humorous movie, enjoyed for the laughs, but found a little lacking

The Soloist 4.5/5

By the looks, didn't think I would enjoy it, but found myself involved in the story

Tom Clancy's Netforce 3.4/5

A little dated but an enjoyable watch
