That is when I scanned the covers and submitted them. No other contributions turned up until sometime Tuesday. Yes the contribution dates confirms this. It would perhaps help if one could compare more than one contribution at a time. Personally I wait until the first contributions are processed before I vote on any of the following. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Most of the time with the brand new ones like Iron Man 2, someone has already done one. I wasn't going to, but I decided I'd go ahead and do the scans since it was bugging me not to have the right ones. | | | |

| Posted: | | | | I try to always remember to check, but sometimes I forget.
I've found in those cases, it doesn't even particularly matter if I forget. When you do contribute, the very first post in the contribution notes has the date of the contribution and the status (no status, approved, declined etc.). If I see the date is recent, within a few days, or that there's no contribution approved or declined status at the bottom of the post, it jogs my memory to go check and see what's been updated and submitted before my contribution.
I agree, it gets annoying with new big releases like Iron Man 2. 7 contributions with 6 image contributions is a pain in the butt to sort through. Generally with huge releases like that, I'll either try to get in first with the most complete contribution possible, or wait out the madness of the first couple weeks and then check to see if everything's proper and complete. | | | The night is calling.
