| Posted: | | | | Great film but I passed on the BD as it's not much of an upgrade over the DVD. It's also shown on TV regurlarly so it's not really a "must buy" but definitely comes highly recommended! | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Doesn't necessarily make it a false statement. If he still showed up on that final day to take a lesson and then played he was technically her student. And maybe he was better than all her other students. I've read somewhere that he lived this day not just a thousand times, but thousand s of times. Well, he had to when you look at his piano skills and his ice sculptures. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

IDK, for one thing you don't have to sit through the numerous commercials on TV and you can pick up the DVD for ~$5 and the BD ~$10. Personally it's worth the investment. |

One thing about the piano lessons, why would he need to do another session on that last day? He certainly had become great to that point so no need to one more; which he did since at the end the teacher proudly says "He's my student" but also I'm not sure why she'd be proud since, as far as she's concerned, he went in as an experienced piano player. |

And perhaps his playing improved dramatically between the time he began his lesson and the time he finished his lesson. He took a lesson that day not to improve his playing, but to brighten the day of the piano teacher. --------------- |
