| Posted: | | | | Wasn't there a rumor of a DVD Profiler + (or some sort of online upgrade) for the online awhile back?
I would like to see a desktop upgrade in conjunction with an online upgrade.

| Posted: | | | | Looks like the Desktop update and the Online Collection update is running fairly close together for the top wish so far... What you say Ken... feel up to hitting us with a double whammy? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I would have said the complete eradication of the actual online database and the rebuilding from the start using a disc id verification to contribute. But I got the feeling it won't be too popular, so I've choose a complete revamping of the online display wich is really pitifull (a chance phpdvdp exist or I would never give a link to my online collection to anyone). |

| Posted: | | | | Online collection update for sure! DVDPO+ anyone? I'd like an online collection that looks a bit like phpdvdprofiler but even better still and with more features.
Close second is a new desktop version with some of the most requested features added in.
But definitely online first and foremost | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Online is my biggest wish. My friends use it to look at my DVDs and tell me what to bring when I come over. It would be far easier if trailers were embedded, we coudl filter by genre, etc.
For the desktop version, top wants involve a new DB structure: Shared data between multiple release of the same movie, so someone fixing The Matrix won't have to enter data for 80 release if the want to be thorough, proper handling of multiple movies of one side and better handling of cast/crew that doesn't involve trying to determine common names and changing every profile of every movie when they change or trying to research birth-dates for bit players in obscure movies. |

| Posted: | | | | I'd like to see an online collection update. Not just a complete redesign, but the actual ability to add/remove dvds via online. It's desperately missing that functionality. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

Some of my friends moved away (even abroad) so it helps to have an online component to be able to check each other's collection, ratings we give, etc. But I can understand that not everyone uses that. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

Having a backup of your database is always nice. --------------- I already have it installed on my work laptop as well as home, so I have a backup right there. Soon I'll have another backup on my phone. Plus I have a genuine backup of my home system. If I ever need to refresh from online, something really bad has happened! But sure, in the event my house burns down taking out everything, it's nice to know it's there. But I'm sure I'd have other concerns for a while. Of course I'm not against an online update. My vote is still for the desktop, but whatever. Really, as a programmer myself, I'd vote for whatever Ken wants to do next. Because if he wants to work on something, it will go faster and turn out better. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
