Norway changed which side of the street they drive on in one day and no accidents. If they tired that in the USA. a new record for car accident dearths.
The weather here in the Phoenix has been up and down like a yo-yo, One week it is normal, mid 70's, the next it is below normal, 50's. Tomorrow night the 3rd here in Glendale, AZ it is to go down to 26 degrees.
Thirty years ago when I built my home I had a double fireplace built between the living room and family room. For the last 20 years I have not been able to use it. If it gets cold enough, you get an atmospheric warning, no fires, thus no fire in the fireplace. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | For once, I'm glad I live where I do in WI. No (new) snow here! All my friends (from MN to TX) are complaining about the weather today...and I'm not! While it's cold (17 f), it's very, very sunny out and we haven't gotten snow in 2 days and the day we did, only 1-2 inches. Everyone else seems to be having power outages and 6 foot snow drifts.
For once, I can be the one NOT shoveling! Yay! It might even make up for the couple dumps we got that no one else did this winter...lol. | | | Lori |

| Posted: | | | | I don't every remember being as uncomfortable as I have in the last few years. Every time Buffalo is in the 80s with high humidity I can barely stand it. Whenever it gets like this I think of a symposium I attended. The discussion was of various causes and effects on the Earth's climate. One result being extremely high temperature and stifling humidity. One scientist summed up the resulting effects saying "the living will envy the dead". |

I live right near the Mississippi river, and the humidity is always extreme here in the Summer months. I just can't stand to go outside much of the time. The heat index went well over 105° this past week, and it's nearly unbearable with humidity almost always hovering at 90%+. It's like stepping outside into a sauna, and there are no momentary cool breezes to speak of. I've lived in the Nevada desert before, where the humidity is extremely low. Even when the temperatures were over 100° fahrenheit, it's far more bearable with low humidity. Humidity is the killer here. | | | Corey |
